University of Houston alum Brett Cullen isn’t hard to find these days. Just turn on the TV, and there’s a good chance you can spot him in a movie or television show.
This month, HBO is airing “Dark Knight Rises,” which features Cullen as a seedy congressman. He also has a recurring role as Nathan Ingram on CBS series “Person of Interest.”

Brett guest stars in “Castle” on ABC, Monday, January 10th. The episode title is “Poof! You’re Dead.”
In the episode the owner of Drake’s Magic Shop in New York is found drowned in Houdini’s famous water torture tank, and Castle and Beckett must venture into the world of magic to find the killer. The duo meet master magician Tobias Strange, played by Gilles Marini.
Meanwhile, the magicians aren’t the only ones keeping secrets, as a new romantic relationship is revealed for Esposito and Lanie.

Catch the premiere of “The Gates” tonight at 9 pm EST on ABC!
From March 23: Brett heads to Shreveport next week to begin shooting a new TV series in Shreveport-Bossier City on March 29. “The Gates” is a one-hour drama set to air on ABC. The first 13 episodes will be shot at Stageworks in Shreveport and locations throughout the area. “Make It or Break It” is a one-hour scripted drama created and written by Holly Sorensen. Sorenson and Paul Stupin (“In Plain Sight”) serve as executive producers. Set in the world of competitive gymnastics, “Make It or Break It” follows a group of teen Olympic hopefuls as they train and prepare for their day in the spotlight. Brett plays one of the Olympian hopeful’s father, Mark Keeler.
